About
Federico Nuzzo
Full stack developer with 20 years of hands-on experience. Self-taught by choice, generalist by necessity, specialist by passion.
The journey
I wrote my first lines of code in 2004, at 16. No courses, no guides — just curiosity and the need to understand how things work from the inside.
For years I worked independently across projects of every kind: publishing, e-commerce, web agencies, pharmaceutical, transportation. Every industry left something behind — a different way of thinking about problems, a new vocabulary, a deeper understanding of how businesses actually work.
From 2017 I combined independent work with employment, working on management software and ERP integrations in manufacturing and regulated environments. At the end of 2025 I founded Nuzzo Dev Studio — to take on larger projects and build something of my own.
Why this matters for the tools I build
The strength of someone who learned on their own is never having had a single prescribed path. I studied technologies and architectures out of real necessity, not for a CV — and that made me genuinely full stack in almost any context.
Twenty years in manufacturing and regulated environments taught me that the hard part is rarely the code. It is knowing what has to be recorded, by whom, and why — because someone will need to reconstruct it two years later. That is the opinion Quasar is built on.
Quasar is not a side project. The studio runs its own development on it: every decision, every analysis and every hour on this website is recorded there. A tool whose author does not use it daily is a tool whose gaps nobody has found yet.

Twenty years is a claim. The three projects below are the evidence.
